Henley Media Group is working in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme to produce Climate Action, an international communication platform designed to assist businesses, governments and NGOs in reducing their carbon footprint and adapt to the impacts of climate change.

The annual Climate Action publication and the website, (www.climateactionprogramme.org) offer comprehensive resources that promote multi-stakeholder dialogue between government and international industry, and highlight the sharing of best practice and new initiatives, while raising awareness of the latest market trends, threats and opportunities in response to rising global temperatures.

Launched in December 2007 for the United Nations climate change conference in Bali, the publication and website are supported by a series of television commercials, online marketing and events.

Climate Action is officially endorsed by a range of influential organisations concerned with the successful mitigation of climate change: Ceres, Investor Network on Climate Risk, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, the Sam Group, The Climate Group, United Nations Global Compact and Bright Green. These global partners ensure the publication and website are highly regarded and well publicised to policy makers, lobbyists, business leaders and the financial community.

The Climate Action website provides an extensive resource for everyone concerned with defining and implementing an organisation's carbon neutral policy. The site is designed to highlight those companies, individual climate leaders and industry sectors that are successfully becoming carbon neutral. Featuring daily news (split both geographically and by industry sector), videos, in-depth articles and a resource library, the high-profile site is supported by a monthly newsletter.
