SportsPro launches the OTT Summit

SportsPro have announced a new summit dedicated to the Over The Top (OTT) industry, addressing the key business strategies and innovations disrupting sports broadcasting. The inaugural event will be hosted at the Olympic Channel's global headquarters in Madrid on 29-30 November.

The SportsPro OTT Summit will unite 200 senior executives from key players and first movers across the OTT value chain, including broadcasters, rights holders, content distributors, social platforms and technology providers. Attendees will network and share ideas on the latest industry developments and their implications for their sports business.

The advisory board shaping the event includes high-level representatives from Twitter, ESPN, NBC, PGA Tour, BBC, Sina Sports, ICC, Sky, NBA, Eurosport, Discovery, BT Sport.

SportsPro managing director Nick Meacham says: "With the OTT market expected to reach $32 billion in revenue in 2019*, up from $8 billion in 2014, broadcast media is going through dramatic change that the sector needs to embrace to be able to cater for shifting consumer demands.
