Following on from the rapid growth of the SportsPro OTT Summit in Madrid, SportsPro is delighted to launch a new summit dedicated to the over-the-top (OTT) industry in Asia. OTT Summit Asia will be hosted in Singapore over two days on 27th and 28th March, 2019.
The inaugural SportsPro OTT Summit Asia will unite 200 senior executives from the key players and first movers in the OTT value chain, including broadcasters, rights holders, content distributors, social platforms and technology providers.
The event’s format has been shaped by an advisory board of senior representatives from companies such as beIN MEDIA GROUP, Bundesliga, ONE Championship, Twitter, Sina Sports, NAGRA, NFL, World Surf League, ICC, New Zealand Rugby, NBA, ESL and more.
Nick Meacham, managing director at SportsPro Media, said: “We're really excited to launch this event, dedicated to what is the most important subject shaping the sports industry today. The evolving consumer appetite for more on-demand and multiscreen viewing is transforming the TV market globally, but no more so than in Asia.
"Forecasts say that revenues from pay-TV and OTT video in the Asia-Pacific region will be worth $77.4 billion by 2021. The intimate format will ensure true relationships are made and real insights gained directly from the people leading our industry into the future."
OTT Summit Asia will dive into the trends that are redefining the dynamic landscape of sports broadcasting and media across the APAC region, and globally. Content featured will include best-practice business models, data-led presentations into successful OTT platforms, the role of technology and social media in driving engagement and consumption, as well as on stage insights into market-by-market consumption trends across the region.
