Climate innovators and policy-makers meet at SIF

The 9th annual Sustainable Innovation Forum (SIF) took place on the 9-10 December alongside COP24, in Katowice, Poland.  Heralded as the largest business-focused event during the United Nations Climate Change Conference, the forum brought together policy-makers and climate technology innovators for two days of robust debate.

With COP24 being hailed by the UNFCCC as ‘Paris 2.0’, the Sustainable Innovation Forum was a crucial opportunity to drive forward the Paris Agreement framework by bringing together hundreds of stakeholders engaged with fast tracking the global green economy. Speakers and attendees ranged from senior representatives from the private sector including BMW, Dow, Siemens, Coca-Cola and IKEA, to government Ministers, Mayors and senior government officials from across the globe.
