We are currently recruiting for a Sponsorship Sales Manager for our London offices to sell sponsorship packages internationally. The candidate will join a successful conference team to strengthen our portfolio working across our International Conferences. We work across an International portfolio of events in the USA, Africa, Europe  and Asia, which means there is an opportunity for you to travel. We work in collaboration with our customers to help their businesses thrive and create a sustainable solar future on a global scale.

The Company

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Maximising revenue through sponsorship sales
  • Developing relationship with decision makers in order to do business and build accounts
  • Identifying and securing new customers who can be developed into major accounts
  • Achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets
  • Achieving and exceeding  daily KPI's
  • Managing a sales pipeline document for reporting purposes
  • Forecasting business accurately on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Gathering product and company feedback from clients and prospects

The successful applicant will have:

  • A solid and proven background in Conferences (Sponsorship sales experience, minimum 3 years)
  • Proven track record of winning new business and successfully account managing existing clients.
  • Able to sell on concept and provide a consultative sales approach.
  • Integrity is key

  • Enjoy being challenged and engaged in a KPI driven environment where a good percentage of your total earnings are performance based
  • Ideally you will have a genuine interest in and desire to contribute to the world’s evolving energy future, in which, we believe renewables and clean energy have a vital and rapidly growing role.

Desirable:

  • Experience with CRM
  • Knowledge of SPIN or  other relevant sales theory
  • Language skills
