Due to my background in sports management, I was head-hunted by Henley Media and joined the SportsPro division as Senior Sales Executive in July 2010. The company regarded my in-depth knowledge of the industry vital and with a proven sales record I was quickly promoted to Sales Manager in January 2011 and was made a Director in 2012. When my visa expired I found the company were very supportive and they are currently sponsoring me to remain in the UK. In April 2013 I was made Managing Director of SportsPro Media and I am continuing to build up the sales team with sales executives who have an avid interest in both sales and the sporting industry.
In the summer of 2010 I relocated to London from Eastbourne. I was told I had passed my interview with flying colours and I joined the company as a Graphic Designer working for Solar Media business in May 2010. Our Production Manager went on maternity leave in June of 2011 and I covered her position. Upon her return she decided to take a step back and work part time and I was then promoted into the Production Manager position. Working for the company has allowed me to expand on my skills and step up my game as a Designer as I get to work on a large variety of projects and across many brands.
I joined the company in 2003 and have worked my way up from being a Sales and Marketing administrator with Sustainable Development International to being Project Director for the Sustainable Development Division. I have had great experiences managing events globally and meeting fascinating people as part of my role. I left the HMG group after 7 and a half years to do a ski season and then returned to the company. The reason I came back and what I think makes HMG a rewarding place to work are the opportunities that arise.
